More Senior Trip Pictures

We visited the San Francisco Botanical Gardens. They were beautiful and peaceful, with different section devoted to the fauna of a geographical region. There were some absolutely beautiful flowers. Susie, Christine, and I hung out for a while on the lowest branch of a Giant Sequoia. Dan and Nate weren't content to stay so low. They actually climbed to the top. That's pretty impressive, especially considering how tall that tree was. The camera couldn't get the whole tree in one picture but below are Dan and Nate, waving from the top. Mr. and Mrs. Prol have nerves of steel, I think. When we tried to leave the gardens we found that the gate we entered by was locked. The Prols were slightly behind us seniors, so when we saw the sign pointing to the after hours exit a couple guys sat in front of it, of course. We let them get a bit worried but uncovered the sign just before Chris' aunt, who had joined us for the walk, called the police.

We took a tour boat ride around the bay, just past the Golden Gate bridge and around for a view of Alcatraz. It was cold and windy, but fun.

I loved that boat ride... one of my favorite parts of SF. Nice pictures.
