This was pretty cool.

This evening, while standing in line in Saga, I chatted with John Tessier, the soloist for the Berlioz Requiem! He's nice. And he sings pretty well, I gather:
On the international stages of opera, concert, and recital, Canadian John Tessier has gained attention and praise for the beauty and honesty of his voice, for a refined style and artistic versatility, and for his youthful presence in the lyric tenor repertoire.

My music prof was at the requiem at Wheaton this weekend. Small world, huh?
