Yesterday was the last day of break week - a week without teams that gives us some well needed respite. We spent much of the day on South Padre Island on the beach and in the beach house of some friends. It sure was nice, but it wasn't my Jersey shore. The water was warmer, but the waves were tame.

what i remember about the jersey shore was rocks, cigarette butts, and cold water.... but if it's your own it's always better, i understand :-)
that beach looks beautiful! (i mean it's not a nc/sc beach, but nothing else is, soo)
Katelynn. Oh Katelynn. How could you. There are no rocks on my Jersey shore. And the water is, um, refreshing.
And, for the record, there are no ciagarette butts (or hypodermic needles) on the beaches I frequent.
